Dear all,
I am urgently seeking an experienced expert writer for the Central and West
Africa section of Minority Right Groups flagship publication, State of the
World's Minorities and Indigenous Peoples 2012. This publication is
produced annually for a global audience of government and non-government
policy-makers, academics, specialists and the media. This year the theme of
the book is natural resource development. The style of the book is
journalistic and informative – a look at key events of the year. To access

The research would primarily be desk based, and would cover key issues for
linguistic, ethnic and religious minorities over the course of January –
December 2011. The theme of the book this year is natural resources
(particularly land rights and extractive industries), so although you don’t
have to focus on this exclusively, where it is pertinent, it should be
included. I would be able to offer you research support based in London at
your request. I am attaching full terms of reference for each section.
